Remote Learning Day
Rather than bringing students in for a half day with a condensed early dismissal schedule, the 2025-2026 calendar incorporates scheduled Remote Learning Days for students with professional and support staff members using the day for staff development, data analysis, and collaboration.Teachers will provide asynchronous work for students equal to a half day of instruction. Student work may be completed on the Remote Learning Day or anytime over the weekend/vacation and submitted at the start of the next day school is in session. Unlike the weather-related remote learning days, students will not attend Zoom sessions on these scheduled asynchronous remote days. On a Remote Learning Day all students will be marked present, unless reported as absent by the parent or guardian. In the event of an absence, families should follow regular procedures for absence notification, and the standard make-up procedures will apply.
